Terry & Amy

Dear Birth Parents, we are Terry and Amy. As we sit down to write this we try and think, if we were you, what would we want to know. Being the parents of two children, both adopted, the look we have seen on both our children’s birthmothers’ faces is a look of love we will never forget. Both circumstances somewhat different, the love the same. It takes so much love to choose your child’s happiness over your own. We promise to give your child a home full of love and happiness. A stay-at-home mother and a father that works hard to provide a life with endless opportunities for his family, our family is the most important thing to us. We are so excited to share it with another child. Our children have always known how God sent them to us and are always told of the love their mothers have for them. We live in a nice home with a big yard that is wonderful to play in. Our families are close by and are a big part of our lives. Everyone is very supportive of our decision to adopt and love our children so much. We attend a small church that has a lot of activities that we take part in. We have a strong faith in God and teach our children the importance of a relationship with God. Your child will always have everything they will need and will have an endless amount of unconditional love. We hope you will contact our social worker to see the large folder of family pictures we have chosen to show you the happiness we have in our family and that you will want your child to be a part of.

More About Terry & Amy…

We met about 13 years ago and have been happily married for 9 years. We are the best of friends and our family is the most important thing to the both of us. We feel very blessed that God has chosen his path for us to take. We enjoy family gatherings, bike rides, walks and our favorite, just hanging out by the pool.

Our Precious Gifts…

Our son is 7 years old and is so excited to be a big brother again. He finds it very funny thinking that the kids in our family will outnumber the parents. He will start second grade and loves school. He loves sports and swimming. You can always find him outside building some type of ramp to ride his bike over. He is a wonderful little boy, full of love and mischief.

Our daughter, age 3, is our sweet little girl. She loves babies and will be very mothering to a new little brother or sister. She loves to chase her big brother around. Her favorite thing to do is swing. She drags us outside early every morning to her swing set where she enjoys being sung to while we push her endlessly. Elmo is definitely her favorite character, she thinks very highly of him.

Sweet Dreams…

Bedtime at our home is a special time. We think it is important for the kids to go to bed happy and relaxed. They play in the bath, get a snack, each picks out a book, and then we say our prayers. This is such a good time for us to stop and just enjoy being together. So many nights both kids pile into our bed jumping and laughing, just beings silly, then the next thing we know they have fallen asleep side by side.

Please contact our social worker so you can see 15 pages of pictures of our home and our family having fun on holidays, birthdays, vacations and just hanging around the house.

Sincerely,

Terry and Amy
