Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and giving us a chance to begin our family. We are very excited about a little one coming into our lives. We are Tim and Heather. We have been married 7 years. We met at church and knew immediately that we were made for each other. We believe that adoption is part of God’s plan for our life together.
About us…
Heather is 5’2 and has brown hair and blue eyes. She is very close to her family. Her parents live right up the street, only a couple of minutes away. Heather’s sister and her family live in Georgia. Heather has worked in medical billing in a physician’s office for 5 years. Tim is 5’11 and has blonde hair and brown eyes. He is very close to his son Matthew, who lives about 45 minutes away. They enjoy playing golf together. Tim has worked as an employee for the city for 8 years.
As a couple…
As a couple we are perfect for each other. Our personalities are different and we balance each other out.

Tim is one of the best people that I know. He is loyal, generous and dependable. He is always willing to help people. He has such a big heart! He is very loving. He is a big kid and will enjoy playing with our children. He also has a great sense of humor. He is always cracking us up. He is so funny!
Tim writing about Heather
Heather is pretty, kind, generous and trustworthy. She is always giving and thinking of others before herself. She is very loving. Her gentle nature and patience and dedication to her family gives her quality skills to be an excellent mother.
Things we do for fun…
We go on family vacations to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We go with Heather’s parents, her sister and her husband and their two daughters. We have also been to Florida a couple of times. We go to Georgia 2 or 3 times a year to visit Heather’s sister and her family. We also love sporting events, playing games on the Wii and just hanging out with our friends and having fun together. Tim is a WV Mountaineer football fanatic! He never misses a game and has even been to a few of them. He also likes NASCAR and golf. Heather likes to read mystery novels and scrapbooking. She loves to cook and try new recipes.
Our home…
We live in a nice neighborhood in Bluefield where there are plenty of children and pets. We are within walking distance of two parks and the elementary school that our children will attend. We also have a backyard that has lots of room for running and playing. We look forward to playing ball and catching lightening bugs.
Our family…
Heather is very close to her parents and sister. Heather’s parents live close by and we spend a lot of time together. Heather’s sister is Natalie and her husband is Crockett. They are very excited and look forward to being an aunt and uncle. They have two daughters. Caroline is 3 years old and Emma is 1 year old. They will be awesome cousins. They are so much fun! We have such a good time with them. Tim is very close to his son Matthew and his wife Katie. Tim and Matt are a lot alike. They have the same sense of humor and like to goof off. Matt is looking forward to having a brother or sister. He will be a really fun big brother and Katie will be a good big “sister”. Another big part of our family is our family pets. We have a cat named Borris and a dog named Cricket. Cricket is fun and adorable. She loves people and she likes to play and go for walks. Our family is very excited about a little one coming into our lives and are very supportive of our choice to adopt. We can’t wait for all of us to spend birthdays and holidays together.
Our beliefs…
We both have a strong belief in God and have a lot of faith and hope. We try to treat others the way that we want to be treated. We want to provide a home filled with love, faith and joy. We are active in our church and are very close to our church family. Tim is a musician in our church worship team. He can sing, play the piano and the guitar. He is especially awesome on the guitar. If our children are interested in music, he could teach them how to play. Heather volunteers in the children’s ministry.
