Tracie has worked for the Children's Home Society since 2001. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Women’s Studies from West Virginia University in 1998 and worked as a Child Protective Service Worker Trainee with the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.

In 2001, as part of her internship for her Master’s Degree of Social Work, Tracie developed the foster care program at the Morgantown site. She completed her Master’s Degree in May, 2002 at West Virginia University . Tracie has worked as an adoption social worker for the Society since September 2002.

Kurt has been employed with the Children’s Home Society of WV since August 2010. He graduated from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology in 1993. Kurt obtained his Master’s of Science in Social Administration at the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH in 1995.

Kurt has held positions centered on children, youth and families. He has focused his attention on mentoring and tutoring services as well as homeless prevention. His work has taken him to Michigan, Ohio, Texas and West Virginia.
