Kim came to Children's Home Society in 2006. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Shepherd University and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Social work through West Virginia University . While studying in undergraduate school Kim interned at Hospice of the Panhandle and Jefferson Council on Aging as well as holding employment at Genesis Health Care.

Kim worked as the Regional Resource Connection Coordinator linking the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resource clients to community agencies who would meet their needs. The position allowed her to gain familiarity with the state agency and all it has to offer the community at large.   Kim looks forward to working in adoption and strengthening her skills as a social worker and she is excited about the challenges to come.

Deborah began her work with the Children's Home Society in January 1999 as the supervisor of the Martinsburg Children’s Shelter. She graduated from Towson State University and Mountain State University . Deborah has over thirty years experience in various social service venues. She currently serves as the Regional Directorfor the Eastern Panhandle of WV.She is developing the Adoption and Foster Care Programs in the Eastern Panhandle.
